TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Booking and Cancellation Policy
- Advance bookings are encouraged and can be made through our website, mpesa, pqd, company paybill numbers or customer service line.
- Cancellation Policy:
- More than 2 Days Prior: Cancellations made more than two days before the scheduled pickup time are free of charge.
- 1 Day Prior: Cancellations made one day before pickup will incur a 20% cancellation fee based on 50% of the total reservation amount.
- Same Day / No Show: No refunds will be provided for cancellations on the day of pickup or for no-shows.
- Customers are required to provide their accurate arrival date and time when booking to ensure smooth pickup.
- Payment Terms
- Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, mobile payment, and app-based payments.
- Any additional charges, such as toll fees, waiting charges, peak time rates, or special requests, will be added to the final bill and payable by the customer.
- Pricing
- Flat Rate or Metered Pricing: Flat-rate pricing applies to long-distance trips (e.g., airport transfers), while metered pricing is used for local city rides. Please confirm the pricing structure before booking.
- Any parking fees or extra services not included in the car pricing will be the customer’s responsibility.
- Waiting Time
- A grace period of 15 minutes is included in the booking. Beyond 15 minutes, a charge of $1 will apply for every additional three minutes of waiting.
- Passenger Limit and Baggage
- Each taxi has a specified passenger and baggage limit based on the vehicle type. Customers should confirm these limits when booking, especially for large groups or heavy luggage.
- Route Preferences
- Customers may request a preferred route during the booking process. However, drivers generally take the fastest or shortest route unless otherwise specified.
- Liability and Insurance
- Kizusi Smartex limited provides insurance coverage for both the vehicle and passengers during the ride. However, passengers should note the company’s limited liability in the event of accidents or other unforeseen incidents.
- Safety and Conduct
- For the safety and comfort of all passengers, Kizusi Smartex limited maintains guidelines for appropriate conduct. Seatbelts are required at all times, and prohibited items should not be brought into the taxi.
- Any concerns regarding safety or driver behavior can be directed to our support line.
- Accessibility Options
- Special accessibility options, such as wheelchair accessibility or child seats, are available upon request. These may come with an additional cost and must be pre-arranged during booking.
- Additional Add-Ons
- Paging services at the pickup area are available as an add-on upon request. Charges may apply based on the location.
By booking a ride with Kizusi Smartex limited, customers agree to these terms and conditions. Kizusi Smartex limited reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
